Can a pick/drills pickaxe power improve when reforging?

No. Reforging can really only make them better as weapons. Even prefixes that improve swing speed don't increase the speed at which a pick/drill breaks blocks so it's all about the items use as a weapon in that regard.

Precisely. But once you get the best pick axe in the game, it'll punch holes through the ground like you wouldn't believe.

Attack speed can help with Pickaxes/Digging Claws but not Drills.
