C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Terraria\TerrariaServer.exe
you can then connect to it using your internal IP.
It will then not pause when it is not in focus as the server is running the game
This is just Multiplayer Server with extra steps. It prevents the game from pausing ever.
It doesn't solve the problem. That problem being, I want the game to run when I want it to run and I want it to pause when I want it to pause.
I want to be able to go look something up in the wiki while the day advances and the travelling merchant spawns, and I want to be able to pause the game in the middle of a boss fight when I need to pee.
That seems like a really simple requirement to ask of a game (especially when that game has a single player mode with a lot of reasons you'd want it to run AFK for a minute or a day), but Terraria appears to have no way to do it, forcing silly stuff like using Always On Top functionalities to do or watch things in other windows while the background Terraria has focus.
