Is everyone of empress of light's attacks a one hit kill

But if you do kill her during the day, you get a special weapon.
So it's rewarding if you overcome the difficulty.

As long as the empress of light is fought entirely during day light, All attacks are 1 hit kill attacks. If you start during the nighttime or the fight goes too long and you enter nighttime, then her attacks are reduced in power and don't 1 hit kill.
The special weapon will only drop if the battle occurs entirely during daytime.

If you are trying to kill her during the day this is how I did it. I'm not sure if this method still works , I did this when it first came out.

Large world , make a skyrail (mine cart tracks that stretch from one side of the world to the other) make a second rail above the first one but leave gaps in it so you can fall back down.

Make boosters the entire length of the track so you are always at top speed and use the mechanical cart.

With this setup you move so fast the Empress of Light can only hit you with one attack , the straight beam sword , to dodge it you just jump up to the higher track and let it pass under you , then move down to the bottom track again.

You will need strong ranged attacks to kill her before day time ends , if you can't kill her before reaching the end of the track you might need to set up a bouncer and a higher track to bounce you back and take you up high enough that you won't collide with her.

it's important to prioritize both dps lock on and dodging for her.

her attacks are simple enough and repetitive enough to dodge tbh

the easiest cheeziest way is to get a large world track cart go back and forth and with enough dodge items the brain of chutulu the ninja stuff accessories the armor and just use chlorophyte ammo to lock on and no hassle with dodge items incase you accidentally slip

the fastest ive seen people is with the pre patched infinity ranged zenith or people using the water + what was it trident as it one shots the dungeon guardian so it should also one shot the empress of light lol

I think you mean a water filled tunnel while wearing the inner-tube and a lance for a weapon. Turns you into a rail-gun projectile basically. The lances do more damage the faster you move. There are videos of this.

you are going to be one hit, thats why there are many projectiles, its mainly a type of boss where you HAVE to dodge the attacks...

Her instant kill attacks ignore dodge procs and have done so for over a year.
