Why wont my farm spawn chaos elementals?

I have a farm at 1332' cavern layer that is 168 blocks wide and 94 blocks hight total. Atm is has 200 corruption blocks for the biome spawns, BUT WHEN it has the 100 hallow block to make it spawn hallow enemies, it never spawns elementals, does anyone know why this is? It is a proper hallow biome with illumi bats, slimes and souls of light.

You cannot really make a farm specifically for Chaos Elementals. You would need to make a farm for underground Hallow mobs in general and hope Chaos Elementals will spawn. And they will spawn. It may just take a while because you've got a number of other mobs spawning in the underground Hallow, too.

If you can find HappyDays' channel on Youtube, he has made one or two farms for underground Hallow mobs in his farming world for an LP and he even has the world available for download. You don't need to use that world, you could visit it and take a look at the farms in it to get some ideas for your world.
