Paladin's Shield + Frozen Shield + Hero Shield = Alone in the Team, Questions.

First question: Is the Paladin's Shield's buff a Damage Reduction buff?
I'm playing the game with +2 friends and usually we join the same team to play. If I swap to another team, will the buff apply to be alone? My intention is to have +6 Def from the shield and (in case it is a damage reduction buff) +25% Damage Reduction buff, but I don't want to redirect the damage, is this possible?

Second question: Does it work the same way with Frozen Shield (and it stacks?)
Basically the same question with the Frozen Shield, plus the possibility to stack if I'm wearing both Paladin's Shield and Frozen Shield. My idea here is to have +12 Def (I believe Def does stack) and have +25% Damage Reduction WITHOUT the redirection effect. (By the way, I know some Defense Reductions are multiplicative and others addictive).

Third question: Same thing as above but with the Hero Shield
The idea here is to have +22 Def (all 3 Shields) and even more Damage Reduction without the redirection effect, in this case, for being alone in the team, I would have all 3 buffs acting together to increase even further the damage reduction.
