And given the effort required i prefer the Liquid bombs and then later Infinite Buckets over duping now.
Especially Liquid Bombs if i want to fill up a large area with liquid very quickly. And they aren't hard to amass. Once you fish up one you are set for the rest of the game as long you leave one of any type in inventory you can buy more from the Demo guy. They are fairly cheap too.
I am definitely going to try it sometime.
No, I'd like to do it "the natural way". I also would like to try and progress in such flooded world and see what will happen.
And I want to witness the flooding process personally. Wouldn't it be fun?
So yea i would use tools instead that produce same result but make the process 100 times less painful.
Work smart not hard as they say ^^ but to each his own.
That could also be fun and slightly faster alternative for flooding the entire world than using pump dupe exploit. It would still take a bit tho.
T-edit just ruins a perfectly handcrafted map. No respect unless you built it by hand!
Have you ever heard of term "a lag machine" for example? Let's create huge waterfalls along the length of the Terraria's world and we shall see how game's engine will handle it.
Don't you ever forget that Terraria is not only a survival action-adventure game. It is also a very powerful sandbox game. Why not use it to the limit?
I can see a lot of children on this forum 12-14 years old. I guess it explains why people here constantly forget this important fact. Well, I am not a child, I am almost 40. I will play Terraria's adventure. Of course. But also I am gonna try to build something huge and sophisticated. Coz why the hell not? :)
I used to have that kind of patience but as my age progressed so have my patience dwindled to bother doing such large projects. I do still love sandbox games i just don't go "big" anymore in these.
Like some of these people i seen making real life sized Pyramids of Lava on Minecraft servers or making a to scale Panchaea in middle of the Ocean.
