whenever you play tmod it opens terraria at the same time, which means any hours you get on tmod are counted to terraria as well. so this combined number you have isn't actually the total time played, the total time is just how many hours you have on terraria

Just let the game running while you´re sleeping, eating or go to work.
Playtime means nothing, it is more important what you achieved in that time.
