First, weapons. You said you've killed Queen Slime multiple times, so I assume you have the Blade Staff summon to deal extra damage (if you're not strictly running Mage). Based on this, you might also have the Gelatinous Pillion, which is just a better Slimy Saddle mount with wings. These two, while not being particularly strong, can help you drain the Twins' and Skeletron Prime's health bars and escape from attacks. You can also use the Rod of Discord in a pinch. For accessories, the wiki lists the Celestial Cuffs, Sorcerer Emblem, Magnet Flower, and Mana Cloak as being valuable items at your stage. The cuffs help a lot for mana conservation, the emblem provides a damage bonus (which you should keep until pre-Plantera), the Magnet Flower does some of the same stuff the cuffs do but with auto-consumption for Mana Potions, and the Mana Cloak reduces mana cost, auto-consumes Mana Potions, causes stars to fall after taking damage, and makes said stars restore up to 50 Mana per star. Furthermore, the Orange Zapinator can theoretically deal a lot of damage, and it's actually recommended for Plantera. While not recommended, you can also pair the Zapinators with Meteorite Armor to negate their mana cost. If you can farm for enough Hallowed Bars, you can additionally craft the Hallowed Armor (with the Hallowed Headgear). This will cost 54 Hallowed Bars, though, so you might need to start grinding for them. Sadly, there's not really a Hallowed Mage weapon. As for buffs, I'd primarily recommend stacking up on Mana Regen and Magic Power potions in addition to the usual buff potions people normally use (Inferno, Lifeforce, Ironskin, etc.) Oh, and before I forget, you should get a Crystal Ball as soon as possible for its buff. Hope all this helps!
Another thing you can work towards are potions - wrath/rage, endurance and life force are all very powerful hardmode potions that you should use.
