Game Crashes When I Click Singleplayer

I Have Tried

. Verifying The Integrity of The Files
. Uninstalling and Reinstalling
. Running as Admin
. Deleting .plr file and using the .bak one

Is there any other solution to this? or am i literally unable to ever play this again, i have done everything ive seen online and not a single thing has worked

Only thing I can think of is maybe reinstalling those xna framework redistributables if you havent tried that yet.

another thing could be deleting the terraria folder inside "documents/my games", which saves your config files and characters. Deleting it will make the game create a new config files (Maybe make sure steam cloud is disabled too)

so I've done the same and nothing has worked, I wish you luck but I now have it too, I started playing Master on a summonr, I have 800+ hours so if you have any thing that you have found out plz let me know

DUDE! I FORGOT I MADE THIS POST IT WAS SO LONG AGO!

okay well good news, i have a solution...

On terraria's official site you can redownload the config. file you see in terrarias game folder, and that immediately fixes it. No deleting characters and using their backups, super simple solution luckily!

If that doesnt help too much since I wasnt too specific just reply to my message and i will help you out with all the extra details and stuff, just been a while since I did it, I only loosely remember how I fixed this problem
