Trying to get the "and good riddance" achievement and can't

So how exactly do you get this achievement? I loaded up a new world, small, crimson, pre-hardmode and got rid of all except 1% of crimson but no matter what i can't find where this last bit of crimson is.

Is this achievement something you can even get in prehardmode?

There has to be 0 blocks left in order to get the achievement. Loading up a world that someone else made isn't a bad idea if you're desperate for it.

I have completed this in a prehardmode world, so yes.

I would suggest blowing everything up and then checking out the remaining altars if there's any blocks they sit on.

You did exit and re-enter the world, right? The dryad's corruption check has a delay and leaving and re-entering a world forces it to happen. People not realizing this is a common source of confusion. If that's not it, you're probably missing a single block somewhere or something like that.

Yeah i feel dumb...After i made this post i left the game, went back and checked and it worked...whoops lol
