Bee Keeper or Muramasa for pre-hardmode?
Finally managed to find a beehive after beating just about every other pre-hardmode boss, and after easily taking her down she dropped the Bee Keeper.

I've been playing ranged for the most part, relying on a Minishark and a Tendon Bow to dish out the bulk of my damage, but I like to carry a sword with me for if I ever get stuck in a corner or surrounded by a crowd of enemies. I've been using a Dangerous Muramasa ever since I found it in the Dungeon, but I'm wondering; will the bees from the Beekeeper add up to more DPS than the Muramasa? I only want to bring one or the other, so I just want to know which would most likely be better.

Well if you have muramasa I'm assuming you killed the worm or brain? and if you have hellstone and jungle materials you can upgrade your sword to nightsedge.

dude, the muramasa comes from locked gold chests, found in the dungeon, therefore you gotta defeat big boner before the muramasa is yours.

also, the bee keeper is technically better, but if you want crowd control when bees won't help, use the blue thingy

hope I helped, and sorry for the correction, Kanashi

Well it seems he already has it so, it isn't exactly a correction when he asked which is better. So assuming that he DOES have both, he most likely killed worm/brain and probably already looted the jungle when he fought bee for bee keeper. Right? The meaning i'm trying to go for is that if he has done all this he can get the nights edge.

You can kill Skeletron before killing either EoW or BoC, or even the EoC. Some really good Terraria experts can apparently kill Skeletron on the first or second night.

I know that, it just depends on expert or normal, and besides if he was a expert would he be asking this question?

Plus, he did say "He defeated all the other bosses in prehardmode" So all he needs is the fiery sword.
