How long does it take to play trough the game

I took about 50-60 hours cuz i wanted most of set and weapons

I've played the game for atleast 100 hours in the new 1.3 update (That included Moon Lord the final boss.) Still haven't killed him. To be fair, it was because I kept playing in Expert mode and I spend to long decorating my houses and bases. '3'

Fastest recorded time is 30 Hours the normal time is 50-150 hours.

Me and a friend started a new playthrough last week and are already at the pillars

It GREATLY varies, depending on skill level, how much you actually do, whether you build or not, etc.
But on a normal world for an average player to get to Moon Lord, it takes ~40 hours.
However, you could speed run it and beat it in ~20.

I generally take 6 hours a day, for anywhere from a weekend to a week.

On my time it most likely takes a week or so due to school whch takes 6 hoirs away from my day. Plus farming for weapons,accs etc etc

Wrong Wrong Wrong The fastest time ANYONE has ever finished the game was 30 hours and normaly is is 50-150 hours.

Well, it's ALMOST the same. 10 hours here or there, hardly anything when you are talking about this much time.

The point is, it's a pretty long game, which, if you spend lots of time making your world pretty, is never over.

A "completionist" playthrough will take hundreds of hours.
