There is only Purity, Crimson, Corruption, Hallow, and Glowshroom solutions.
It just turns biomes into 'normal' terrain, like Forest and Snow.
What Kiwi's saying is that you need to place mud to spread the jungle. Jungle grass grows on mud and only mud. While you can't spread the jungle into crimson directly with the clentaminator, you can convert grass on mud between glowing 'shrooms and jungle.
If you are determined to restore your jungle to its former glory, start by cleansing out the corruption first. Then go and replace all the dirt with mud and plant some jungle grass seeds on it. It will spread in time and make your jungle biome again.
I know this is a major pain in the rear end, but sadly, it's the only way you can do it in-game.
