Celestial Pillar missing?

as the title states there is one pillar missing how? is this a glitch of some sort? (its the solar pillar)

strange, though if you re-load the world it might appear, it could have something to do with block input. Which pillar is missing? Solar, Stardust, Nebular or Vortex?

Evidently, if you take too long to kill them, they'll sink into the ground. Probably in a cave system somewhere.

HUH? My world didnt have that, my solar pillar is still where it was, and its a long time

Let me fill you guys with information. I killed lunatic cultist and then i went back home and looked at the pillars and went to stardust and destroyed it and then i closed the game and went to sleep the next day i only saw two pillars vortex and nebula. i went and killed the nebula and then prepared an arena to make sure that if the moon lord spawns i have an arena. once i destroyed the vortex pillar it said "Impending doom approaches" which is what happens when moon lord is coming. Keep note i didnt destroy the solar pillar which was my main pillar as i wanted the solar eruption. This might be a Bug in the game or a glitch to skip a pillar.

Where would the missing pillar have been? They're usually spaced out fairly evenly (far left, near-ish left, near-ish right, far right in relation to the center of the map), so if you have a building big enough to prevent it from spawning normally, it might have spawned at the 80' Underground spot and sunk, causing it to despawn...maybe? It's just a guess.

Underground. That where they are. If their not on your map then i cant help you. The pillars are ment to despawn themselves if u take too long to kill them, so it could have sunk below the world and despawned.
