how can i teleport to my dead bodys gear

I only know of one ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that consistently talks about only playing hardcore. If you're into playing on any setting other than softcore, then you might want to stop dying so much. Especially to boulders. Pressure plates can be spotted from space if you've got a few hours in this game. Trust me. I'm not even that good.

Actually, you can get away with just as much with a Hardcore character as you can with a Softcore character, embarrassingly enough. It used to be that Hardcore characters were deleted by your game outright whenever you died. Now your game only sends the character file to the recycle bin. That means you can restore your character to exactly how it was when you began that play session. Combine this with manipulating the Save & Exit feature and you can effectively use a Hardcore character without losing anything, making it just as easy on the player as Softcore is.

For players who actually do want a challenge (and I am in no way implying anyone should do this), interestingly enough, Mediumcore is the real way to do it, unless you are so honor-bound that you will delete your character file from the recicle bin on your own..

If people want to play that way, then they should just play on softcore. I mean, it's a video game. It's not like there are bragging rights. And who in their right mind would tell someone "I'm good at Terraria"? Some things you just don't say.

And IMO there is nothing wrong with suggesting a way to add a challenge if that is what they are looking for. It is only a bragging right if you turn it into a standard. Which I did nothing of the sort.

Incase nobody mentioned it already, if you equip a pressure plate (probably the easiest early wiring object to obtain), you'll be able to see all the hidden wires which can help to avoid those pesky heart attack inducing boulders.
