How to change Hardmode back to normal?
Title.

My friends were playing terraria on a normal world where we havent killed a wall of flesh yet.
Then, another friend joined in with a cheated inventory and went to the underworld and killed the wall of flesh without telling me. Now my world is stuck in hardmode and im well undergeared i havent even fully explore all the pre-hardmode content yet.

your options are basically struggle through that hardmode world or make a new world, and i'd suggest you dont let that friend in. or you can backup your world files so if he does it again you can go back to before he did.

Few hours into hardmode, and the corruption is spreading EXTREMELY quick

Try to go to a Spider Nest. It will be a PAIN to kill those, but you will get some gear handy.
Also, you may go to the Underworld. It's ironically easier down there.

Beat the mecha boss with your naughy friends of yours lol. It will make the spreading much slower. Alternatively, you can make 4 wide wall-less trench over the area that you want to protect from corruption, which is a pain indeass.

Well, it's not like you'll lose that much. You can migrate all of your items to a new world and just go beat the bosses you've already beaten. That's at least something. Really your only option unless you wanna mess with your game files, like the other guy said. I wouldn't, though. You could corrupt them and lose everything on that world. THAT would really suck balls.

But yeah. Corruption spreads pretty hard and fast, JUST LIKE YA MOMMA

Nvm ill try to stay in this world and get used to hardmode. is there a way to stop corruption? i heard using hallowed seeds works

P.s The friend that killed the wall of flesh is no longer on my firends list

Do you have a spider nest handy? I could try to farm some fangs for you.
(BTW, what can I do for you to trust me? I know how hard it is to finding trusting people...)

The tool "TEdit" allows you to uncheck the killing of the WoF and hardmode. This will only affect what types of mobs spawn and the spread (speed) of the new biomes and will of course create a non-authentic world in a somewhat mixed state, but you will have pre-hardmode game rules then. Still, when you eventually enter hardmode again, you will likely get expanded new biomes or they might partially overwrite each other.
Oh and keep the program window tiny when loading your world or it'll be a spoiler. The checkboxes are on the right section; that's all you need to see.

I never thought of overwriting things like that...
This can make some very interesting things...

It's for an Early Hardmode armor set. If you find a Spider Nest, strong spiders called Black Recluses will spawn. They drop said fangs.
You need 36 for each complete set, and it's crafted at an Iron/Lead Anvil.
You also ned some more fangs for the Spider Staff(s).
