They patched it. I read it in the changelogs.

And if you havent been seeing medusa that is becuase they moved her into hardmode only.

Oh didn't saw it in the patch notes, thanks for the info. The medusa change is boring, she was not as hard, but I can understand it for hardcore players though.

When getting the pearl blocks she spawned alot .. it pissed me off a bit and im happy they put her in hardmode.

It's a specific house design that takes advantage of what Terraria determines as a "house" to spawn all 21 housable NPCs (22 during Xmas season) in just one house. The reason the latest one works I believe is because the game's housing detector detects a room with the required items that has at least three walls of adequate size (which makes sense because the fourth wall would be incomplete because of a door/platform to get in/out) and places an NPC's housing "banner" on a 3x2 area hanging off the ceiling with no obstructing furniture/platforms below it. Since the house itself doesn't have an NPC banner already inside it, a new NPC can always move in, whose banner will spawn behind the other NPCs', allowing for an infinite amount of NPCs in the same house.
