Can stuff open trap doors?

Hey, so normally doors seem like a pretty good defence. But, bloodmoon zombies and all other assortments of mobs can open/break them down. So I was wondering if they could open trap doors as well? (Not on wiki)

Trap doors? I don't quite understand what you're talking about. But if you're looking for something that creatures can't open ever is wired blocks. Like you can use wiring system and any kind of block, you can put down a pressure plate which activates when player steps on it, so you'll need 2 plates, in front and at the back of the gate. You can have the plates connected to 3 blocks, so those blocks will diactivate (open) when you walk into it and activate (close) when you leave the gate.
