you dont need the bucket itself, there is a simple trick thats easy to do and only requires you one normal water bucket

you wanna start by building a one block deep and wide 'bowl'
then you just have to put the water on the edge and water will flow down both sides: one half in your 'bowl' and one half into the place you want to fill.
now, the funny thing is, you can simply get a FULL water bucket out of the other half that has flown in your bowl. silly, isnt it? :D
