Purifying the world

ANOTHER HELP! i've been in hardmode for like 4 months now and i just noticed that the crimson in my world is spreading (like fuq) so if i purify it, is it ok if i purify it only on the ground? or i should go deeper undeground to properly purify it?

You have to completely go down to purify it all.

Four months? Sounds like your world is just about screwed.

But seriously, if you want to properly purify the entire world, then you will need to delve underground and remove every last block of crimson down there. Purifying only the surface won't do you any good, especially if you want to keep things like the underground jungle intact.

Also, do you have the Clentaminator?

not yet i just got recetly been into hardmode 4 months ago and i rush to destroy some altars after defeating WoF so thats what happened which i didnt know that it will spread my crimson biome like wildfire

Yeah, upon the activation of Hard Mode, two giant biomes of crimson/corruption, and a new one of hallow, appears in your world. The spreading speed of both is also increased a ton.

after i enter hardmode i rush destroying altars like literally every altar in the game i dont know that it'll spread my crimson biome that fast, it spread like near my jungle biome (well actually it is already in the jungle but only in the upper entrance only) and yup i spread Hollow (since the dryadconsider hollow as good biome) into my house, and where can i get this clentaminator? is it droppable or from an NPC?

The Clentaminator is sold by the Steampunker NPC, who will move in after you defeat at least one of the mechanical bosses. It costs 1 Platinum coin.

Make one spawn, just make sure your weapons and armor are upgraded as much as possible and carry a LOT of potions.
