Cheaters! (Builder's Workshop & just all items maps)

This is just gonna be me complaining about cheaters so probably not worth your time.

Honestly, I really don't get why people use Builder's Workshop, it just spoils the ENTIRE game, you can just get end game gear within the first five minutes! It makes it hard for people like me and many others who play the game legit and farm for hours for items from ankh shield components to rod of discord to play multiplayer. I don't want my chars where I earned stuff legit going and gaining resources from a 'contaminated' world. Whether I gain 1 copper or a moon lord bag from a 'contaminated' world, I'll delete it immediately and make sure I only leave with LESS than the amount of items I came in with just to be sure I didn't 'cheat' at all.
I really wish I didn't have to do this and could just play with others on OP worlds who also gained everything legit. But because of these people it's just impossible to trust anyone.
I know there's no 'fix' for this and me complaining won't change a damn thing.
I can just hope no one makes a Builder's Workshop type thing for when terraria otherworld comes out. So I can play with others LEGITIMATELY and not play with cheaters.
This isn't even mentioning about there being no point in acheivments considering all these cheaters... at least you know someones 'legit' if they have the 200 fishing quest acheivment but you can never be sure which is what sucks.

Well. Some people get really bored from long times of farming and grinding. And when you defeat moon lord in expert mode. There isn't really anything more left for you to do. Builder's Workshop maps help people with stuff. U can do it too.

Ik I can do it, I won't bc I enjoy the farming and challenge of the game. Once u beat expert moon lord there's still LOADS u can do

Yeah, it's just really annoying that I can't really play multiplayer without removing every item I gained

It does not matter as terraria is not really a serious and competitive game. If you are angry at players who hack maybe you should just play with ur friends and make rules.

really depends, if you are like me and just mod the game to ADD content instead of cheating or doing it for self gain, then it isn't cheating. adding mods just to spawn items, then yes, that is cheating.

Im not angry at anyone it just sorta bothers me, cuz although I much prefer singleplayer I do like to play multiplayer sometimes.

You know what. 1.3's content for me ran out really fast. I mean as soon as the update came out i finished all the content in one day. I mean i started a new run and killed moon lord in a day.

Just google 'Terraria Builder's Workshop'

i completely agree with you, it can be very frustrating trying to find legit players for multiplayer, or whenever you are wanting to do a fresh expert run.

I have played avalon and exo avalon mods. Got to say they were good, better than 1.3 actually.

just get TmodLoader, and run the jave installer from its zip file, and boom, you can then just straight up download the mods from the game via the in-game mod browser.
