Is it just me or is this game "floaty" now?

I used to love this game and played it alot a while back, I reload it really excited and maybe i'm just remembering it wrong but I could have sworn it wasn't so slow and floaty feeling, like jumping feels like a slow motion trampoline now. i don't know I'm actually a bit turned off by the changes they made.

Look at me for an example I was a beta tester for Minecraft, we had to punch sheeps back there to get wool without killing them, now j need to use sheers to cut and get the wool which confused.

Every game will change in the development, it always happens and won't stop happening.

The game is always going to change, I actually logged in Minecraft 1.9 right now, and I am completely shocked as the sounds, combat system, health regen have changed, it is like I was new to this game, despite being an late beta tester back in 2010.

did u mess wth the video optoins? if u messed wth frame skip then thats why everything is slow and floty

Like I said, he probably has just gotten used to other games.

Not really, these are two different issues.
Your example: Significance in game development changes.
His issue: Jumping in Terraria feels different than other games he is used to.

Could be this, or it could be that your computer has not aged gracefully, which very few (if any) do.

Go in game again and hit f10 while in game. It'll bring up a frame rate counter. If it's rather low (relative to 60), then there's the issue. Sadly, the only way I know to fix it is with a new computer, which may be out of the question.

And of course, if you have a new computer, then well, that rules out the aged processor theory.
