How many uses does key of light have?

With key of light does it have 1 use or unlimited like the shadow key?

1, you put it inside the chest, close the chest interface then the key is consumed and you get your mimic. it also consumes the chest too

If i recall right, the Key of Light and Key of Night are single use. Both are used to spawn a mimic by placing it inside a chest and exiting the chest UI (Only place one- duplicates are consumed with no effect iirc).

They aren't used to open special chests or anything like the gold or shadow keys, unless something was added in 1.4
