Master mode vs Expert mode

I started playing master mode and I noticed that the enemies rape you more and do like 20x more damage than on expert mode and you drop 100% of money on death but are there any other differences? Are bosses much harder than on expert mode and do they have bonus stages?

Not master mode just add damage/health to ennemies and makes you drop 100% coin on death. Oh and you get pets/ statues from bosses that's all :)

I can't progress in Master Mode at all. I beat Eye and Slime..and that's it. Impossible to progress for me any further and I don't want to make a new world to lower the difficulty because I like how my base is coming out. :(

50% more hp than expert and deal more dmg than expert. Enemies can also open doors though that isn't 100% in my experience.

Yeah it seems kinda like a "difficulty for the sake of difficulty" thing. But tbh once you get some movement abilities it's not too hard to take out enemies, it just takes a long ass time.

Master mode isn't for the babies. Just bring your expert character in for you struggling. All the enemies do is bigger damage that's it. Vanilla AI is still just as dumb as ever.

oof im at duke fishron but its HARD

I'd have preferred just a damage boost on Master instead of another huge health boost. It just made enemies way too tedious to kill.
