[Bug] Audio is split between headphones and speakers
When I change the audio driver the game is using, the game only sends the music to the driver I direct it to (my dedicated soundcard for headphones). However, all other sounds remain directed towards the primary default audio driver (my speakers). I use different sound devices for different outputs, to keep them seperate and clean tracks, especially for recording purposes, and this makes things very weird for me!

I have used Ear Trumpet to do this because there is no in-game option to select an output device. Usually games have no issue with this, but Terraria does, and I've never seen a game do this before. So the sfx and audio channels can be SPLIT? That's really weird honestly.

Anyways if there could be a fix to make it so I could direct the ENTIRE audio to my headphones that would be nice.

One solution is to *trick* the game by using a hotkey method where I swap the primary audio device before I boot up the game, and then when it's booted up, I swap it back. Annoying, but it works.

Having the same issue, using Eartrumpet as well. Weird that Terraria splits the audio in a way that trips up the audio controller

i know this is 2 years old but i found a fix that worked for me. I set my headphones as my default output in sound settings as well setting it to headphones for terraria in the sound settings.
hope this helps others with the same problem.
