i feel stuck

im a new terraria player. first time playing so i made a small world on normal difficulty. but now i feel stuck. i explored majority of the biomes except the jungle, the underworld, and the dungeon because i get my face wrecked. i cant seem to get any better gear or weapons and im not sure what to do. any help would be great thanks!!!!!!

try serching in a snow biome for heart crystals and then ore for armor and weapons and at night get the falling stars ok

If you can, either find a sky island, there will be a house with a chest in it, you have a chance to get a sword called the starfury, or you can fish untill you get a weapon called, the falcon blade

i have max health as of right now, with 18 heart crystals in a chest

I'd suggest trying out some ranged weapons and heading to the corruption/crimson. Break one or two shadow orbs/crimson hearts and wait for a meteor to fall. Make full meteor armor + space gun (full armor set = no mana use for the gun). Find some heart crystals if you haven't already. Fight the first two bosses (Eye of Cthulhu and Eater of Worlds/Brain of Cthulhu). From then on, you should start figuring things out on your own. There's no loss in trying. :)

Check it out... Check armour, swords. Gives you more of an aim on what you wanna get, and what you need to get to achieve it. I'm pretty new, on my 2nd world. Placing precautions to stop the Crimson from spreading etc, have the Nights Edge sword & Molten armour, which is the best sword and armour you can get in PRE-hardmode, before killing the wall of flesh in hell which will progess the game into hardmode, which unlocks alot more.

You can see you need 4 swords to craft the Night edge. If you click each sword it will tell you what you need, and if you click the ingredients it will tell you where and what to kill to get the required ingrediants to make your new and improved weapons/armour.
