What setup to use with Bee Gun pre-hardmode?

I am currently using:
Weapon: (Murderous) Bee Gun
Helmet: Bee Headgear
Shirt: Bee Breastplate
Pants: Bee Greaves
Accessory 1: (Menacing) Honey Comb[terraria.gamepedia.com]
Accessory 2: (Menacing) Frostspark Boots[terraria.gamepedia.com]
Accessory 3: (Menacing) Celestial Cuffs[terraria.gamepedia.com]
Accessory 4: (Quick) Lava Waders[terraria.gamepedia.com]
Accessory 5: (Menacing) Pink Horseshoe Balloon[terraria.gamepedia.com]

What items or reforge should I change for better optimization with Bee Gun obtainable pre-hradmode?

Are you on an expert mode world?

Hello Nuclear Chair,

I am not using Hornet Staff, but going to make one right away, thanks for the tip.
And yes, I am on expert mode world. I have both Crimson and Corruption worlds available.

You were wearing bee armor, which helps with the hornet staff, but if you want to focus on the bee gun get jungle armor and a hive pack instead of the lava waders (you can swap out the two around lava)

Thank you, I'll get Jungle Armor first and Hive Pack after.
I have also noticed, I could upgrade Honey Comb to Sweetheart Necklace.
If there is something else coming to mind, let me know, please.
