Can't craft restoration potions
I've been trying to craft restoration potions but haven't got the option to craft them. I have Healing Potions and Mana Potions and have tried to use a normal alchemy station and a alchemy table but neither have given me the option to craft. Any idea on what I'm doing wrong?

They changed the recipe. It's a mushroom, a bottle, and pink gel now.

Also those potions are bad, don't use em

It's not recommended to craft the potions that restore hp, craft the ones that give buffs. All of the bosses drop the healing potions so you'll have so many that you won't need to craft them.

If you wanna know the recipes for all of the potions make sure to check the wiki: http://terraria.gamepedia.com/Potion

Okay thanks, I'm not in hardmode yet and getting 50hp from the lesser potions doesn't really help much when you have 400 max. But I'll look into making buff potions should be easier with a alchemy table as well.

Grab some deathweed seeds if you haven't. Deathweed farm helps.

You can grab some glowing mushrooms and lesser healing potions for regular healing potions. Or if you're too lazy, they're found in pots in hell and hell chests.

I have seeds for every plant, Although I'm not really sure how best to start farming them. What useful potions does deathweed make? Gravitation and Magic Power seem like the only real good one.

Wormhole if you're playing with a friend they are great, all you need to do is be on the same party

Multiplayer isnt the greatest in this game. (And it buffs bosses)

Some other good potions are made from Deathweed. My favorites are Magic Power, Battle, and Wrath. Make sure to check the the guide for crafting or the wiki for more information about items.
You can planet Seeds on regular old land (able to be broken accidentally), in Clay Pots, and on Planter Boxes (sold by dryad). Planter boxes are cheapest to get. You want to harvest planted seeds at the right time, or else you wont get anything. Deathweed gives seeds on a full moon or blood moon.

The bosses get some increased stats yes, but being two makes up fot it when it comes to aggro and damage. Moon Lord is a joke in a party

As I recall bosses only get buffed when you're in expert mode and playing multiplayer, I might be wrong though.

I've tried to play multiplayer but it's always "Make a new softcore character" and it almost never lasts past the first time you play. Plus with so many kids who get mad when you have better items because you actually mined ore instead of going past all of it.
