What Is Better Solar Flare, Nebula, Stardust or Vortex
I have been looking at the armors for a while and i can't seem to find what stats up best. I have been sticking with vortex for a while and i wan't to know if the others are better solar flare is one of the armors that i wore for a play through as well as nebula but only stardust i have not used. I don't do summoners which is why, you don't deal as much damage as usual and its difficult getting the proper accessories. I stick with vortex because i seem to mostly stay out of the melee and magic weapons and more use the S.D.M.G, Vortex Beater and Phantasm. Melee has been useful at some points but not really i mostly rely on the Star Wrath as an endgame melee and finally magic. Magic has always been a use for me not as much as vortex though i mostly use the razor pine and last prism just because the damage is great. Vortex boosts your range damage by alot, the solar flare has amazing defense and melee stat, the nebula kills mana usage and stardust is just tons of minions. To me vortex is more useful with the set bonus by increasing the ranged damage by alot when used which is why im sticking with it but tell me if there is something better than vortex

Even though the four armors are meant for specific classes the nebula seems the most useful. The flames it creates when you damage enemies will keep you alive AND boost damage no matter what class you are.
Here's basically how it works.

Melee has very short range, but an ok amount of damage, and a ton of defense.

Ranger is all around, having good defense, damage, etc.

Mage deals a good amount of damage, for exchange of having less armour, and generally being helpless at close range.

Summoner is super squishy, but has minions that can deal a ton of damage.

It really depends on your playstyle. Vortex and Nebula are excellent boss killers, while Solar is designed to deal with crowds up close.
Stardust is interesting because it has the highest class-damage increase, 66%, making it wonderful despite the low defense. Although you could reach higher damage with the Nebula damage boosters, the incredible boost to minions like the Stardust Dragon, Cells and UFOs gives you a major primary source of damage while you get to add to that damage with your own weapons. Using nothing but summoning accessories is really beneficial to a Summoner, and since your hands are free to use whatever melee, magic and ranged weapons you want, it makes the Summoner a good all-rounder class.
I rambled on too much, but I hope this helps.

+Hugs The rambling wasn't too long and it helped but i usually find using a summoner class a pain in the neck mostly because im forgetful on summoning items. I do know how much damage a max stardust dragon can dish out though but the stardust cells i use more because they can latch on multiple times and on multiple enemies. I am mostly doing boss battles and i know the tactics really well for a ranger class :steamhappy:
