Flarion or Influx Waver?
As a main weapon for a melee character that's about to do the celestial events. If it helps this is for my friend in a 2 player play through and I have a Mage load out.

Use the flairon. And the influx waver for stronger enemies.

sorry i should've phrased the question better. Which one would be better in certain situations? ex: moonlord, pillars, ect

The flairon does better on larger groups of enemies, but the influx waver is usually better for single targets.

I wouldn't even use the Flairon on ML. I would recommend crafting a Solar Eruption with pillar fragments (just a recommendation). The Solar Eruption can pierce walls, so if you use some blocks to cover ML's eye beam, you can still hit the eye. (Also, it is useful when exploring caves, as it gives off light.)

I prefer the daybreak on the moon lord, but thats just an opinion.
