Which one is better,demon scythe or waterbolt for WoF?

As the title said,I need help

Im currently using a Yoyo playstyle and have (almost)end game pre-hardmore gear.I tried to mix it up a bit with a bit of magic weapons as said in the title,however,I don't know which one is more viable to mix with my Yoyo in order to beat WoF

No,I don't need help as in someone joining me,I just want to know which one is better to use,and maybe which one I should use? Don't call me a noob,I just bought this game.Also in HM,what should I do?

I also have another magic weapon called the "Aqua Scepter".And I would neep help on modifiers also

While both weapons can pierce through enemies, the Water Bolt moves much slower, allowing it to take its time passing through the WoF and damaging it more often. Protip: Fire the bolts at an angle towards the ceiling of the Underworld, and watch them ricochet back down and hit almost every vulnerable part of the WoF.

As for all three magic weapons, "Mythical" is their best modifier.
