Losing health constantly
I'm playing right now, new char, and I'm constantly losing one health per second even after I die and respawn. What can I do? Does anyone know why this is?

Uhh... That's weird. Do you have any bad items on you, like a Red Potion, or things like that?

red potion won't deplete health unless you drink it

Are you perhaps standing on Meteorite/Hellstone Brick/Hellstone?

It's because invisible ninjas with a grudge are constantly stalking you.

Real advice: Maybe create multiple worlds and play with the character in one world, and switch to another right before you die? Take health potions and Heart Crystals with to the next world too?

Must have been those ninjas because I left the world and came back and they were gone. Thanks.

That's really odd, maybe it's a burning/poisoned debuff bug or the companion cube which deals 1 damage in dark places.

I figured it out, no worries. I forgot to mention I was using a mod that apparently adds a debuff. It was a prefix adding mod that added buffs, as well as some debuffs to your armor accessories and weapons, but it wasnt working properly so i removed the mod and fixed the issue.

what mod was it?

I keep getting damaged by 1 per second in my slightly old modded world, while on others I don't... I use the following mods : Calamity, Thorium, Fargo's Souls and Summons, AlchemistNPC.
Anyone got any idea how to NOT move to another world? I've recently beat the moon lord.

Necrobumping this wasn't really needed...

Anyway, it is apparently a reference to one of the quotes from Portal.

HAHAHA! No wonder, I have the companion cube and was so confused as to what was going on!

Also, and I know this post is old as heck, but Calamity mod has a feature in which after you killed the Moonlord, you permanantly take -1 damage, and are Irradiated when its raining. Only way to stop the irradiated debuff is to get an item from a rare monster spawning from the rain.
Red Plz?
