No matter what you say I am correct because the moon lord isn't required. a required boss is a boss that you must defeat to unlock another, moon lord doesn't unlock a boss, therefore optional. A Boss is any enemy in terraria that can drop a trophy. In addition, the only pre-hardmode required boss is the wall of flesh, as you can get the summon item immediately. this thread is bad and im only writing this to annoy the creator. In the event that you do not accept any of my beliefs, than you are wrong and should learn how to "git gud"

Could you note where you got the definiton or a required boss? Also "No matter what you say I am correct"? What? Anyway you are right about the WoF being the only pre hardmode required boss. You only need to do the WoFlesh, Mechs, Plantera, The Golem, and the MLord. My definition of required is ones you must defeat in order to "beat" the game. In terraria's case, defeat the final boss and get the best gear.

You need to defeat Skeletron in order to fight the Lunatic Cultist, so Skeletron is not a skippable boss. If you were to progress through the game without fishing, you need to FIGHT (not necessarily win, but winning comes with good stuff) the Eater of the Worlds/Brain of Cthulhu in order to make the pickaxe that can mine hellstone. Eventually, there is this long chain that will allow you to make hardmode gear from making the molten pickaxe.

Yes, we forgot skeletron, but the EoW and BoC are skippable as your statment was, "If you were to progress through the game without fishing, you need to FIGHT" but we are talking about if they are skippable. We'd need to fight them to progress normally but they are skippable.

actually, you can skip hardmode ores. simply by having enough health and skill, you should be able to fight the mech bosses without full HM gear. sooooo you're wrong.

thats the point... to list all the bosses you dont need to kill to progeress through the game...
we all know you need to kill BOC or EOW to get shadow scales/something to get their respective pickaxes.
You can use the reaver shark to mine the demonite/crim ores, hellstone and cobalt/palladium.

clearly triggered. people need to learn to read, but last boss is optional ,since there is no content after it. this wouldn't be true if the credits were to play after defeat, but they don't.
