Awesome Fishing Trick (Infinte bait uses)

In the 1.3.1 update, there came a glitch in the fishing system.
If you dont know about it, google 1.3.1 fishing glitch.

But i have found another trick that can get you unlimited uses out of a single bait item (master bait or gold criters). It works really well with the new glitch or by itself if you dont want to do the glitch (it only saves time, so i dont count it as cheating), heres what you do...

Turn ON auto pause
Using your best bait, fish normally or with the glitch
If your using a sonar potion, wait untill you find what you want, if not, Guess...
Open your inventory (pausing the game)
Switch out the best bait with a lower powered bait
Close your inventory and reel in

Using a higher powered bait item, give you more chance to get a rarer item (e.g. a golden crate)
Switching out the bait while you have something on your line (with auto pause ON) makes you lose the worse bait instead of you rare bait.

Here a full examle if you dont understand (dont need to read if you get it)

I have 2 master bait (ha ha) and 300 grubby's. i put the master in a higher place in my inventory so it gets used. I use a sonar potion and cast my line. Then a gold crate comes up. I open my inventory so the game pauses, i switch the master and grubby bait, close my inventory and reel in. I get the crate and lose 1 grubby, instead of losing my good bait.

I dont think THIS trick is counted as a glitch, its just the way auto pause works. I have just discovered this, so im assuming there are others that dont know this.

It does seem like a good way to make bait last longer but it's not infinite, however by the sounds of it you have flower boots so untill you are able to build up more master bait it seems like a good idea.

Well nothing is infinite, but it will last as long as you need. ive fished 150 golden crates using this. My angler hates me so ill be done with fishing before i stockpile enough master bait.
