Duke Fishron also wasn't too easy.
I never use platforms on purpose for arenas (I don't cheese my bosses, even Plantera or Duke Fishron). This makes Skeletron Prime much more difficult as there is less room to dodge, and the bombs can actually hit. But this makes it a more thrilling fight, so in my view, I consider platforms to be cheesing (and a lot more effort to make than putting some small block platforms above my airborne railroad with campfires and heart lanterns), but others may consider platforms to be legitimate. Did I mention that Skeletron Prime doesn't receive a new attack pattern (no rocket launcher or bombs that actually hit platforms, and no extra arm).
I suppose I should try fighting Duke Fishron with only a Water Walking Potion or equivalent, no platforms and no Gravity Potion, but maybe some solid blocks to put a campfire and a heart lantern... Cheesing makes the Duke Fishron too easy even on Expert.
Eh, but this is just my opinion.
