Best equipment pre-hardmode?

I have a full set of Meteor armor (for unlimited Space Gun spamming), a Godly Vilethorn, a Keen Minishark, and a Zealous Demon Bow. Any other good stuff or upgrades available before taking on the Wall of Flesh?

I think you're pretty good. Also save up your stars and make a star cannon out of meteorite.

I would also recommend getting a suit of Necro Armor and Molten Armor, as well as a set of Jungle Armor. Once you've gathered these materials, go ahead and take on the Wall of Flesh. You'll want to be able to switch between various play-styles so that you can handle different situations better once Hardmode starts.

You will also more or less require a Molten Pickaxe or a Reaver Shark, as those are the only two Pre-Hardmode picks capable of mining Cobalt and Palladium ores, either of which is required to mine Mythril and Orichalcum, and either of those is required for Adamantite and Titanium mining. Just wait until you can get the Drax/Pickaxe Axe before you bother making anything better than a Mythril/Orichalcum pick after that, and you'll be able to mine anything short of Lihzahrd Brick.
