Hardmode Ores

Hey so I just got to hardmode yesterday, and I've been searching and have found up to mythril. I mined some Titanium with it but it looks like i need an adamant forge or something to make it into bars. The problem is that I cannot find any adamantite although i've destroyed about 15 altars. Is this a bug? Should I start a new world? I'm being killed everytime i wander out of my house. lol

You can make a Titanium Forge. Functionally identical to an Adamantite Forge, and even crafted similarly (30 Titanium Ore instead of 30 Adamantite), so assuming you have a Hellforge already, you should be good to go.

Glad you figured it out but I wonder how you did not have this question already when you saw copper or tin, iron or lead, silver or tungten, gold or platinum, etc. In the case of hard mode ores, it is cobalt or palladium, mythril or orichalcum, and adamantite or titanium.

The problem wasn't that he didn't know which ores were which, the problem was that he couldn't smelt Titanium without an Adamantite/Titanium Forge, and he had no idea there even was a such thing as a Titanium Forge.

^ What he said. Also, I still need to find some adamantite so that I can make myself a set of dragon armor later on. What would you guys suggest I do? It doesn't look like my current world has any adamantite. Is the only option left to create a new world? I've also been wanting to join a server and play with people. Do you guys have any friendly server suggestions?

You're playing on Console, aren't you?

No I'm on PC. I'm looking at wiki on how to make stuff.

Dragon armor is console only, but you can still find it on the wiki.

So what's the best armor I can have on PC? I use melee mostly
