Mythril Armor?

Hi, got a little question for those that know a little about the game. I recently restarted playing and just got a Mythril armor. Wanted it real bad due to its light reflection it has in my past gameplay. But it doesnt work anymore... why?

It was so awesome to get this armor in social, to reflect all the lightning effect and forgot about the mining helmet (Or putting some torch everywhere)

So for the question:
!. Why it doesnt reflect anymore? (or maybe its just me lol)
2. Is there an other armor that got those properties?

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed that they did this, too. But I imagine that they got rid of it since it was kind of redundant; there are plenty of other light-giving items you can get. In particular, at your stage, you can get the Fairy Bell, which has been buffed so it's a more reliable and better light source than Mythril Armor ever was, and later on you can get the Wisp in a Bottle, which is even better.
