Still possible to trigger seasonal events by changing time?

I just tried and it didn't seem to work. Any help?

Depends on what season your changing it to. If it's Christmas then you have to kill the Snow League or something like that (spawning device is a snowglobe) then you will get Santa. Just because you change your date doen't mean that it will begin straight away it may take a while. I never really tried except for Christmas but then I had to get off cpu. Good Luck

i think he means he switched the calander date in his computer. either way yes it does work i tried it several times and farmed about 99 presents and goodie bags, just make sure the date is between the timeline, ex if you put nov 29 it wont work it has to be between about the date for the christmas event

if you meant the moon events and such then yes you can do it during the holiday events as well

What I mean is like I changed my PC time for the Christmas stuff and when I got ingame nothing changed.

how did you change it? because all i do is click on the bottom right where the time and date are and just switch the time

I changed it to the 16th (day after) so I figured it's within the timeline and yes I just did the time in the bottom right corner

It might have to get to the next in game day, not sure of the specifics there, but if you did that it should work. Also the effects might not be immediatly visible.
