i live in a third world country and hell i can afford 5 bucks, im sorry but your request 'tell me why you need this key why do you deserve my shiny key im going to pick the best beggar' is not sound sincere at all my friend.

you may be sincere and thinking you are doing a kind and good job here, but you may want to change that attitude because, people must not beg in steam forums for a 5 bucks even if they need that key too bad (much less then 5 bucks when you consider its the whole packs price)

Relax man, there are lots of privileged people who don't have the luxury of living in a third world country as an excuse. Some people have to "work" for their begging excuses.

Actually I was in another forum for another game in this same bundle, and even at $1 tier (not the BTA tier that Terraria is in) people were begging for a key. So it doesn't really matter which part of the world you are from, there are some people who even will make the comment to ask for a game key...which now that I think about it, actually would be about $0.33 since the other game I saw is part of a tier 1 set with 3 games for $1. So for $0.33, there are some people who will still ask/beg for a key.

But in this thread's case, OP has asked for someone to submit a reason.

I feel that is different from the unsolicited begging that occurs sometimes, although even giving a reason, sometimes people just did it without any real effort...and that's why OP will be the ultimate judge of the person who he thinks is most authentic or has the good reason.

Though as honest and genuine as OP would be, these kinds of threads do tend to bring out different personality types, too, and the thread may devolve.

Guess this is what I get for trying to be a good person. Let me just say this; It's not about begging. It's about wanting the game. It's a giveaway for crying out loud. I don't pick randomly. So if you like being a jerk, that's perfectly fine, but when I try to do something good there is no need to be a douche.

if you want to do something good by giving away free keys(which i have no problem with it), do it privately and write down ' i will give these to the first 10 people who really need this key' and check your pm's, by doing so you will counter the 'jerks' like me as well.

but what are you doing right here right now is seems to be a pure amusement for you, no offense.
