guide died i failed

i threw the voodoo doll into lava without realising that it needed to be in the underworld.derp. but now hes dead it wont work if i do it again.

You will have to wait for the guide to respawn, then you can summon the Wall of Flesh.

make sure the house your guide was in stays vacant so he can move right back in as soon as u summon the Wall of Flesh

WoF drops a good few items you need so your gonna kill him a good few time.time well spent is after you have killed WoF spent some time farming up few more doll's till the guide respawns and you can kill it again :D

Dont worry the guide will eventually appear again. I dont think the developers of terraria would make it so that if you kill the guide hes not gonna respawn, that would be pretty unfair considering you would have to create a new world if you wanted to summon the wall of flesh.

Mine didn't either, but that's because I had my houses in the air because I had a feeling that it'd be too unsafe for them on the ground.

My guides usually die the first night. And then again several times by the time I reach the Underworld to even GET a doll. Often from Invasions or Bloodmoons.

I mean they are pretty pointless, but wouldn't you feel so bad if you were to kill him and realise that he's not gonna come back?
