[bug] viking helmet... not dropping. i swear.

ok guys, i know. you re thinking that i should just try harder.

i ve an underground snow farm. killed maybe thousands of the northern guys.
can have any drop in that biome. i have toy sled. i have more than TEN frozen keymold.

but i cannot put my hands on that useless viking helmet!!! i want it now!
so either i am the RNG toy, and i must try harder, or there is something fishy.

can someone confirm it dorps since recent patches?

setup:
windows terraria 1.2.4.1
world created in 1.2.3.1

[edit] maybe there is some conditions? like being in the lava layer? my farm is very near the higher limit of the rock layer.
but seriosuly, i always thought drops were only enemy dependent, with no other conditions, only spawning is conditional. and they spawn by the dozens.

[RE-EDIT] hooks dont seem to drop neither. only Ice Sickle seem to drop from these ennemies.
i only can drop hoojs in purity.

ok, this come from me being in Hardmode. in this , undead viking entirely replaces Armored Viking, so you cant drop the helmet anymore. sad. this is the only occurence i know of this limitation.
i updated the official wiki to include this info.

RNG is my friend. i got several very hard drops on first try. maybe it makes me pay for such blind luck.

ONLY Undead/Armored Vikings have a 2% chance of dropping helmet and EVERY hardmode
snow mob has a 0.2% of dropping frozen key mold ,so its either that or you're right about your RNG luck.

slight precision:
key mold has a 0.04% chance dropping.
if it was 0.2, this would still be possible. but here its astronomically low odds.

Its because your probably in hardmode, I dont tink they drop it then.

soit means that armored vikings entirely replace undead vikings, and that they dont drop anythiung other than ice sickle. in which the wiki is false.
sadly its the only thing i know that cant drop in hardmode, its sad.
