It works exactly like a platform, but it is also a flower pot. Plus, they are 'themed'. You can buy a different Box for each plant; Daybloom, Blinkroot, Shiverthorn, Waterleaf, Fireblossom, MoonGlow, and Deathweed.
It can help you stay organized, and you just go out and pick the plants whenever they bloom.
A Staff of Regrowth almost triples your harvest, so if possible, use it when harvesting!
P.S. No, you do not need to submerge your plants anymore. I mean, you can if you want, but I wouldn't. Just makes it more complicated.
Add some nice decorations to your gardens. Make it look Great.
You genearlly only need about 10 planters of each type at most.
I wouldn't bother with more.
It isn't such a bad idea However to Get a character Straight up based around making potions (Pretty much a character to "mule" ((Mule = Hold alot of)) Potion/alchemy items)
I'd put the Plant farms not too far away from your base but not too close.
And if you have true dedication make the Place you put it one large base!
