is the slime staff good

i heardalot of stuff about the slime staff i just got it and i dont know if i should use the hornet one or that one

The reason you hear alot about is because it is super rare, it is good for a starting weapon, but is quickly replaced, use the hornet

Honestly, i do not know, but it is not nessecarilly terrible early on, it just is replaced after a while like everything else.

it's for early summoners, it's not rare at all if you can make a farm for it, there's also mods that let you craft it such as tremor, it's really OP early on if you get it.
