queen bee not summoning?

i broke the larvae in the hive but it didnt summon, so i made an abeemination and went into the forest, i used it and it disappeared but queen bee didnt spawn, HELP

I am not sure what's the reason behind the larvae one, but i'm pretty sure you're not supposed to be able to summon the queen bee in the forest, only in the jungle and underground jungle.

I have the same problem. I summoned it normally by the larva, but I ended up dying, after that I located another hive and even breaking the larva it didn't appear. I tried with abeemination and it didn't show up either.

Playing getfixedboi and I’ve found sometimes the queen bee “traps” don’t trigger a spawn. Not always but sometimes.

I also get this happening occasionally. It also occurs rarely with Golem, where you use the Lihzahrd Power Cell at the altar, get the "Golem has awoken!" message, and then...nothing.
I don't remember either of these issues prior to 1.4.4, so maybe it's a new bug?

I just had the exact same problem so it must be a PC bug, I found a hive hit the larvae with a weapon nothing happened I didn't even get that she was awoken so I made a summon did it in the hive in the underground forest and still nothing

The larva / abeemenation having a chance to "misfire' and not trigger the QB spawn is a known bug atm.

It happens on regular worlds also.
Devs know about it and it's pending a fix.

Wrong. You can summon QB in the Forest it will just be enraged making the fight a bit harder.

The wiki says the "Abeemination" can't be used anywhere except for the jungle and underground jungle and I'm trying it out right now in my drunk world seed master mode difficulty. Not spawning. The only way you can get the Queen bee into the forest is by summoning it in the jungle and then running over to the forest.

Oops yea my bad.

But it is bugged atm tho it can misfire occassionally.
