As for the forbbiden armour. It's generally better for being more defensive, as the extra minions,weaker direct firepower, and sand guardian can help to attack enemies while still holding a favorable possition.
So for normal enemies, it's a toss up as both of them have their pros and cons. For bosses, titanium all the way as the forbidden armour loses a lot of what makes it good.
Also if you really like the look of the forbidden armour you can always wear it as vanity. So you can be an ancient Egyptian god of ninjas.
Also, the different helmet types for Titanium Armor correspond to different classes:
Headgear = Magic class
Helmet = Ranger class
Mask = Melee class
