Strange Plants?

Hey, I was wondering if anybody had any tips on how to find Strange Plants. If you do, I'd be more than happy to hear your advice. Thanks

There really is no easy way to get them, but if you would like to try to farm or streamline the process of them spawning, it might be beneficial to just create a long dirt bridge above ground. They spawn on almost all types of dirt except Mushroom. Creating new worlds can help too, although that is also completely RNG. Hope this helps and have fun!

Are you on hardmode? Because since the 1.4 updates (I think) they are only obtainable on hardmode. You can also use a metal detector so you don't miss them!

Yes they only spawn on HM.

I personally builded a long sky bridge of dirt + grass (which is also usefull to farm falling stars). (I used grass to get mushrooms too, but i think you can stop at dirt.)

I also builded a minecart system just above the dirt bridge to fight empress of light. If you want to do the same, be sure to have at least 2 spaces between the dirt and the minecart, otherwise the dye plants won't spawn on the bridge.
