Piggy Bank Stuff gone????

I put my stuff inside of my piggy bank right before I got attacked by the eye of Cthulhu. I went to store more things after I defeated the eye and every thing is gone! I had all of gems, ores and other valuables in there. WHAT HAPPENED?? I spent so long gathering materials!!😭😭😭😭

Were you shift-clicking the items in?
If so it's possible you didn't actually open the piggy bank and deleted your items by mistake.

I think if you mis-clicked CTRL+LMB you'll delete the item instead of moving it between containers...

To prevent this from happening again you can lock your items by ALT+LMB.

Also, piggy bank items are saved to characters instead of world. If you switched to character B you can't see the piggy inventory of character A.

yes... I was shift clicking... 😪... so shift clicking deletes items? That doesn't happen with chests. I've been putting items in chests using shift click. I guess im just so used to minecraft lol

Shift-clicking moves items between container. So it shouldn't have deleted your items.

oh..... maybe I did hold alt by accident....well... I guess I have replenish all of my materials 😑

If you hold ALT and left click you will lock the item to prevent auto-sort or delete.

You must have clicked CTRL by accident.

Keep in mind, the Piggy Bank is tied to your character. So if you're in the world with a different character they can't see the stuff.
It's a personal storage.
