Mimic statue for surface loot in "don't dig up"?

I've not tested it yet, but what do you think overrides, "no loot from mimics pre hardmode" or "mimics in don't dig up pre hardmode drop surface loot".

And if they DO have drops (taking into account you can't auto kill statue mobs anymore to get drops) would there be much point into farming them?

I'd assume the no mimic statue drops before hardmode would stand unless they coded it to work otherwise specifically for that seed.

I think mimic statues never drop loot no matter if pre or hardmode. They just die in a poof.

I made a statue farm in my underground desert and for some reason normal mimic spawn there as well. So i can farm unicorns and other statue drops with real mimic drops. Very conmfy :D

Also random werewolves. Why wo weres spawn in underground on the zenith seed? Seems so random xD
