Bottomless Water Bucket

I read somewhere that the bottomless water bucket was available pre-Hardmode with the latest patch (1.4.4), but I have been unsuccessful in getting same. Is there any truth to the pre-Hardmode claim?

What the latest patch did, is allow you to throw that bucket into shimmer to get a bottomless shimmer bucket, in a world that has beaten moon lord (you may have to beat him again after the patch) or by crafting with luminite bars at an ancient manipulator.

I looked through all my chests and I never received this either at the 25th quest.

The Terraria Wiki is a much better source than some pizza grease stained weeaboo.
